How We Measure Transformation Impact

6 min read883 words

ORIGIN doesn't measure vanity metrics. We measure business outcomes—growth realized, revenue impact, market positioning achieved, customer experience improved. This is how we prove ROI at each phase of the ORIGIN House Framework.

Three phases. Three measurement frameworks. One accountability standard: we own growth for our clients.

ORIGIN measures itself on every engagement too: CSAT 90% or above, on time 80% against the proposal, on budget 90%, and one round of feedback per deliverable.

AUDIT PHASE METRICS

Discovery & Diagnosis · Measuring Strategic Alignment

What We Measure:

  • Stakeholder Alignment Score: Survey-based measurement of leadership alignment on strategic vision, transformation priorities, and success criteria (baseline vs. post-workshop)
  • Strategic Future State Roadmap Approval: Steering Committee sign-off on 12-24 month transformation journey—binary metric (approved or not)
  • Budget Allocation Secured: Percentage of recommended budget approved for FIX and GROW phases—indicates leadership confidence in roadmap
  • Time to Insight: Weeks from kickoff to approved roadmap—efficiency indicator (target: 4-8 weeks)
  • Gap Identification Clarity: Number of actionable gaps identified with clear root causes and prioritized impact—quality of diagnosis

Why These Matter:

AUDIT phase success = leadership aligned on transformation vision and willing to invest. If Steering Committee approves roadmap and allocates budget, we've proven diagnostic value. If not, we haven't earned their confidence—full stop.

FIX PHASE METRICS

Foundation & Systems · Measuring Execution Quality

What We Measure:

  • Deliverable Completion On Time & On Budget: Percentage of FIX deliverables completed within agreed timeline and budget—execution discipline indicator
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction with Deliverables: Survey-based measurement of client satisfaction with brand strategy, visual identity, systems setup, documentation quality
  • Brand Consistency Improvement: Pre/post audit comparing brand application consistency across touchpoints—measures foundation strength
  • System Adoption Rate: Percentage of team actively using CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms—readiness for GROW phase
  • Process Efficiency Gains: Time saved in brand/marketing workflows post-implementation—operational impact (e.g., campaign approval cycles reduced 40%)

Why These Matter:

FIX phase success = foundations built correctly, team ready to use them, and processes actually improve efficiency. If systems aren't adopted or brand consistency doesn't improve, foundations are weak—GROW phase will fail.

GROW PHASE METRICS

Scale, Accelerate & Realize Growth · Measuring Business Impact

What We Measure:

Digital Platform Performance:

  • Website Traffic: Sessions, unique visitors, page views vs. baseline (pre-launch or pre-redesign)
  • Engagement Metrics: Time on site, pages per session, bounce rate—indicates content relevance and UX quality
  • Conversion Rate: Lead form submissions, demo requests, contact inquiries vs. baseline—conversion-ready platforms prove value

Campaign Performance:

  • Lead Generation: Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated from campaigns vs. targets
  • Pipeline Influence: Percentage of sales pipeline influenced by marketing campaigns—marketing's contribution to revenue
  • Revenue Attribution: Revenue closed from marketing-sourced leads—closed-loop attribution proving ROI

Digital Marketing ROI:

  • Cost Per Lead (CPL): Paid media cost divided by leads generated—efficiency metric
  • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Marketing cost divided by customers acquired—profitability indicator
  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Revenue generated divided by ad spend—performance marketing effectiveness

ABM Program Performance:

  • Account Engagement Rate: Percentage of target accounts actively engaging with content/campaigns—indicates relevance
  • Pipeline Influence from ABM: Deal value in pipeline from ABM target accounts vs. non-ABM accounts
  • Account Velocity: Time from first touch to closed deal for ABM accounts—sales cycle efficiency

Customer Experience Optimization:

  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Post-interaction satisfaction scores—measures experience quality
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS): Likelihood to recommend—brand advocacy indicator
  • Customer Journey Friction Points Reduced: Number of identified friction points eliminated vs. baseline audit

Automation & AI Impact:

  • Percentage of Tasks Automated: Marketing/sales tasks now automated vs. manual—operational efficiency
  • Time Saved Per Week: Hours saved by team through automation/AI—productivity gains
  • AI Chatbot Resolution Rate: Percentage of customer inquiries resolved without human intervention—support efficiency

Why These Matter:

GROW phase success = realized growth. Platforms driving traffic and conversions. Campaigns generating qualified pipeline. Marketing proving ROI. ABM influencing deals. Customer experience improving. Automation scaling operations. If these metrics don't move, transformation didn't deliver business outcomes.
